Falling Airplanes Good.
I'm writing this review while listening, so I can build up a better opinion, also because it's the longest piece I have ever reviewed on the AP.
Initially, this song seemed quite cluttered, I didn't think the instruments complimented each other well. The singing wasn't that great, but then after the very start it all came together, the vocals really went well with the instruments and it just sounded great, a good tune.
The second part was a very brave move, it was completely different from the intro and didn't flow on from it very well - seemed almost dream like, the sounds you were using added to this feel. There were some bizarre vocals in this part, but it did sound good, if not very strange. There were some good synths in this section.
The start of the third section had some pretty good instrumental progression, also the initial vocals from this section sounded like a man speaking through a speaker with echo - that's just what I thought. This part had a fast tempo but still seemed rather slow. It was shorter than the section prior but I think this was good as it put more emphasis on the part prior and the part after it.
The last part was also strange, although I'm getting the feeling this whole piece is. The chopped up beats were good, as well as the vocals. Throughout, the guitar really added to a strange feeling.
This piece was emotive and that was good.
